Daniel Rivera serves as the Technology Director for First District RESA. He previously worked at FDRESA as a Technology Consultant before moving to Georgia Southern University as the director of the Instructional Resources Center.

He has provided instructional technology leadership, guidance, and professional development for K-12 and university students, faculty, and staff since 2002. Daniel is a Google Apps Certified Trainer and Google Apps for Education Innovator.

Dave has many years of computer related activities behind him. During his previous job as European Systems Manager in Geneva, Switzerland, he handled the corporate helpdesk and co-managed the company’s networks. He has worked for both State and corporate employers and has also been a self-employed consultant. Dave’s experience spans several domains including wired and wireless network management, server and computer installations, troubleshooting and computer forensics.

Multi-lingual in English, French and German, Dave has a B.S. in Computer Technology and a B.S. in Civil Engineering. He also holds certifications in Computer Forensics, Wireless Network Administration and IT Service Management. Dave provides Network and Infrastructure Management and IT Support Services for First District RESA as well as consulting services for our districts and schools.

Dustin joined the Tech team in 2019 as the IT Specialist for RESA. Previously, he worked for 2 years with the GLRS team as an IT Consultant.

He obtained his bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Georgia Southern University.
